Bible Over Money
Story★★★★A few weeks ago, three teen-aged hikers found themselves lost in Glacier Park. It was getting dark. Knowing they could not make it to safety that evening, they decided to build a fire. Checking their resources, they found that the only source of paper to start a fire with was a Bible one of them had carried with him. They refused to burn the Bible. Looking further, they found a dollar bill. They started the fire with the money and soon had a warm blaze. The fire kept burning strong all night. Rescuers spotted it the next morning, and the kids were brought back to safety without incident, in an area full of grizzly bears.
Life is a matter of choices. They chose not to desecrate their Bible. (This story is from the Flathead Valley near Kalispell, Montana.)
