Enemies at the Heavenly Banquet

Now when I was a kid I thought of man I’m gonna have all my enemies on the outside, and I’m going to be eating tofu or whatever it is on the nice banqueting table. I’m going to be eating my favorite fruits. But if you really think about it, if it says you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, what does that mean?
It means that your enemies have also made it to heaven. It means that you’ve also prayed for them and you’ve worked for them and you’ve labored for them and so those who you do not like you have given your life for in such a way that guess what? They all made it to that heavenly banqueting table in a sense.

The point
Reflecting on Psalm 23:5, the speaker reinterprets the presence of enemies at the heavenly banquet as evidence that even our enemies can be saved through our prayers and labors for them.
