She was married to a very loving husband and they had a nice home and she was just really successful. But as we got to know her, we learned about her past.
She got involved before she came to the Lord. She was in a relationship. She had a child at a very young age and as the child was young, her husband or boyfriend left her and she found herself young, with a small daughter, barely any education, and a small job, and they were barely surviving. So she’s in this dinky little apartment with her daughter, all by herself, barely surviving.
And then she told me the story. I was like, ‘What did you do?’ She says, ‘You know, I felt impressed to do something. I just started praising God.’ I was like, ‘You started praising God?’ She goes, ‘Yes, I started praising God.’ And she said, ‘And you know what started happening? I got a better job.
And I started making really good money. And we started having extra money. I was able to send my daughter to a private school. And then I met her husband, his name’s Louis.
Everything turned around for me while she was praising God.’
