Loving Enemies
TestimonyStory★★★★I remember I told someone a story, I will not tell you the story, but I will tell you the result of the story. So I told someone a particular story and their first reaction when they looked at me in the eyes, they said, I hope you smacked him in the face.
And I looked at him and said, nah, I said a prayer for him. He was like, what? And I was like, yeah, I still pray for him. I can’t wait to see him in heaven 1 day.
I know God’s gonna reach his heart. And he was like, I, he’s like, that I cannot comprehend. How can you actually care for someone who did you so wrong? And I said, well, I mean, I did Jesus wrong and he still loved me.
Amen? Because if you saw me 10 years ago, that would not have been my reaction. But that comes from knowing God.
Like the more you know God, the more he starts to transform your heart to love how He loved, but that’s gonna look different in your life than what you’re used to. And that’s okay, but it is scary at first.
