True Patience
Story★★★★A little girl gave her idea of the true greatness of patience with this story: “Once there was a woman who did a big washing and hung it on a line to dry. The line broke and let it fall in the mud, but she didn’t say a word. She did the washing all over again, and the second time she spread it on the ground. That night a dog walked over it with his muddy feet. When she saw it, she didn’t cry a bit. All she said was, ‘Ain’t it funny, he didn’t miss a piece.’ That was true patience, but it is only people who have done washing that know it.’
