Story★★★★In one of the cities of eastern France stands the statue of a Negro by the great sculptor, Bartholdi. On the face is an expression of wistful sadness. One day a German boy, named Albert Schweitzer, stood before that statue. He had been looking forward to a brilliant career in music. But as he looked into that sorrow-riven face above him, he was moved with compassion and, leaving the high place which might have been his at home, he went out to Africa to give himself to the redemption of the Negro race.
