Reading the Phone Manual

I WAS having a great deal of trouble with my cell phone. A great deal of difficulty picking things up and hearing. It kept cutting off, so I had to get another one. I walked into the store, showed them what I had, and they told me which phone model was comparable to what I was used to.

I got the phone. They sent my number over to the new phone and so I was good to go. About a month after having the phone, I noticed a small but thick book in the box the phone came in.

I hadn’t looked at it before. I decided to thumb through it. I was just “stuptified” at all the stuff the phone could do. Its capabilities were far beyond my expectations because, fundamentally for me, a phone is to make calls and to receive calls.

Upon reading the book, I discovered that it offered so much more. Without reading the book, I would have settled for basic phone use, but upon reading the book, I discovered that far and beyond the basics, there was so much more.
