If the judgments recorded in Scripture are good objections against the divinity of the Bible, why are not hurricanes, earthquakes, diseases, and the universal mortality of mankind, equally good evidence against the Providence of God ? If Deists would be consistent, and pursue their objections against the Bible, they must discard the providence of God, and descend to all the absurdity and darkness of Atheism.
