Ermine

There is an animal in most sub arctic regions called the ermine. The ermine has a beautiful pure white coat. They are often hunted for their precious white fur. This animal is so meticulous that anywhere it goes, anything it does it so careful not to get even the least smudge on its fur.

Hunters will not use bullets or arrows because it will tear their precious fur. So how do they catch them? When the ermine is away from home the hunters put mud and dirt at entrance of their den or home then the hunters send out the dogs to chase the ermine.

Instinctively it runs home for safety, but it notices that the door is dirty. Because the mouth of his den dirty he bravely faces the dogs and his captors. This animal would rather die than get one stain on its coat. Friends, do you care about you white robe so much that whatever you do wherever you go you are careful not to get your it dirty?

Do you have a love so rich and so grand for Jesus that you want to remain pure and clean? Are you careful not to go the places that have mud on the doorway? Would you rather stand outside and face the dogs than go in and get your coat dirty? Revelation 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
