Illustration★★I have a number of good friends that married really late. Several guys that married in their late 30s or even their mid to late 40s. All these guys had good jobs, they’re handsome, they’re super friendly, easy to get along with, and I always wondered, and Jen and I would sometimes talk and ask, what took so long with these guys? So I did a survey, and I asked them, I called every one, and most of them gave me a very interesting answer. Most of them said, quote, ‘I wasn’t ready.’ I wasn’t ready. And I said my wife wasn’t ready. She wasn’t converted until a year before they met and started dating and eventually got married.
