Its your problem

Two buddies were fighting together in WW1 in trenches, they were blood brothers. They had made a pact with each other that if they ever needed help on the battlefield they would always come to the help of each other. And sure enough one day one of them is mortally wounded, cries out for friend’s help who was safe in the trenches. And with no thought for his own safety friend begins to climb up. The sarge yanks him back into the foxhole and commands him not to try to save his friend, it’s no use, he’s a goner, to try would be suicide. But when the sarge turns around, he scamper out of the trench to his friend’s side. He drags him back to the trench and they both fall into its safety. But in his attempt to save his friend he too was shot and had a mortal wound. And his friend is dead. (one who disobeyed order dead) Sarge sees what happened, and with a tone of authority and anger he says to the dying soldier, “What a waste, he’s dead and you’re dying, why did you disobey me?” Whereupon the soldier says, “Sarge, it wasn’t a waste. His last words were, ‘Oh John, thank you, I knew you’d come.’”
