Barn on Fire
Story★★★★Shortly after we were married, Jennifer and I were driving through upstate New York in the fall. We saw smoke billowing from a barn next to a house, and noticed a silhouette moving inside at a normal pace. When an Amish-looking man approached our car calmly, he explained that his barn was not on fire; he was making maple syrup. The smoke was part of the process.
