The Sabbath Experiment in France
Historical Account★★★★During the French Revolution, they tried to cut out the Sabbath from society. They worshiped a goddess of reason and implemented a 10-day week instead of a 7-day week. This led to many people’s heads being chopped off with the guillotine and mental institutions filling up. Eventually, they returned to the 7-day week because it was not working out well at all.
