No card could ever say What your gift has truly meant, But allow me if you may To show thanks for what you sent,
By this poem that I do write To my good friends, Sharon & Dave, To show my appreciation just right For what you are & what you gave.
Friends indeed are rare to find, But in you it’s there to see, Patient, true, committed and kind, Reflecting Jesus in how you treat me.
Serving the church and those down and out, You lift them up and demonstrate about True Christianity, how it is lived and how it suppose to be, An example, in truth, of a faith that I can see.
So thank you for you love, your kindness so true; Bless you for the most wonderful things that you do; And if there is anything I’m thankful for, as I say adieu It is that I am so thankful for you just being you!
