Luther Warren

Luther Warren. Was invited to go to Jamaica to give a demonstration for theology school how to do evangelism and make appeals. Students very excited because they were at an onsite meeting with demonstrator. Luther told what to do and what he had to demonstrate.

Hall packed, started to preach. Directors worried. Luther leaves subject and covers many topics. The director started to worry because this is not usual.

Then he made an altar call. The directors were happy and upset at the same time. But, they were happy that it was Spirit moving.

They were upset his unusual approach. The directors asked him what happened. He didn’t know. He just said God told him he had to do it.

God knew that it was the last night for those people. There was an earthquake at 4 in the morning. 20,000 people died. Many of them were those who committed themselves to Christ that night.

They never knew that in committing to Christ they would find security for eternity. God knew and told him to make that call that would make the difference between life and death.
