the agreement there can be no competing relationships, no
competing loyalties, or no competing contractual obligations.
What God calls for in the first commandment is exclusivity as
to who is going to be God in our lives. He doesn’t welcome
competition.

Business exclusivity clauses require single loyalty; God's first commandment demands the same exclusive allegiance. He will not tolerate competing gods or divided loyalties.
