Moses and Discouragement
Story★★★★In Exodus 33 where Moses talks about showing God’s glory. While he’s up on the mountain, God tells him that his people are messing up down below. When Moses comes down and sees this, he is discouraged. He says to God, ‘Nah, they’re your people.’ Then God says, ‘Fine, take your people and go,’ but Moses responds, ‘No, if you don’t go with us, we’re not going.’ Eventually, Moses says, ‘Show me your glory.’ This shows that in our moments of discouragement, those are the times when we ought to draw closer into the presence of God.
