Falling Off the Ship

The screams led rescuers to what they had been looking for, for a full 6 hours. Jefferey Rosenburg a passenger on the ship tells the story on CNN. The rescue crews were searching for person. They finally found her floating in the water waving her arms. They found out that she had been floating there for 6 hours. When the search boat found her there was shouts of joy. Their mission had a happy ending. They wondered how she had stayed afloat for all that time? For six hours she treaded water or floated on her back. Even though travel experts say that it’s almost impossible to fall off a cruise ship they managed. This woman and her traveling companion proved them wrong. They fell off the balcony this past weekend off the Grand Princess (3-30 to 4-1 2007). The ship was about a 150 mi from Galveston. He was found nude. Easier to tread water nude.

How many Christians were on the ship and somehow fell off and were left to die? How many people somehow lose faith and need a rescue mission to go find them? Maybe you know what it was like to be in the world barely treading water. When the woman was found she said help, I can’t do this much longer. She was about to loose her energy and drown. How many people are about to loose hope and drown in depression and despair? What will you do to rescue them? Friends we are naked without the gospel. We are naked without His care. Who will be the hands of God? Who will be the feet for God? Who will say, “Here I am Lord send me!”
