Poem★★★★The biograpber of Bishop Watts, Ditchfield, relates that when the bishop was a child, he was one day in the house of a very old woman, who asked him to read a framed text, ““Thou, God, seest me.” Then she said, ‘When you are older, people will tell you that God is always watching you to see when you do wrong, in order to punish you. I do not want you to think of it in that way, but I want you to take the text home, and to remember all your life that God loves you so much that He cannot take His eyes off you.”
The point
As a child, Bishop Watts is shown a text 'Thou, God, seest me' and taught to remember always that God loves him so much He cannot take His eyes off him.
