The TV Makes the Invisible Visible
IllustrationAnalogy★★★★ALL around us are invisible electronic waves. The air is thick with them. It’s because of those invisible waves that you can speak to someone on a cell phone, or listen to a radio in your car, or watch the football game on TV. You cannot see these waves.
They are invisible to the naked eye, but when you sit down in front of your television and turn it on, the television set will give you a visual of the invisible. That which you cannot see will be made visible through the vehicle of a TV set. You will be able to see in living color the invisible become alive. God is invisible.
The Bible says no man has seen God at any time. He’s a spirit. The air is thick with His presence. He is everywhere.
The problem is the human eye can’t see Him so He must then make Himself visible. The process by which the invisible reality of God comes across in living color is called glory. When we say that God is glorious, we are saying that God has made Himself visible in such a way He can now be seen.
The point
Just as TV makes invisible electronic waves visible, God's glory makes His invisible nature visible and comprehensible to us.
