Believe In Yourself To Succeed

He said, “I know how hard you have all worked this semester in preparation for this test, and that you all have great plans for the future. You have studied well, and I am certain that you will all pass this exam. Therefore, I am willing to give an automatic B to anyone who decides not to sit for this test.”
Immediately, a bunch of students jumped to their feet, thanked the professor, and left. “Anyone else want to leave?” asked the lecturer. “I won’t offer again.” Another student packed up and left the room.
The professor then handed out the test. The few remaining students stared at the page before them.
It said, “Well done. You have been awarded an A for this subject. Always believe in yourself.” Two caterpillars were perched on a leaf when they saw a butterfly overhead.
The first caterpillar said to the second, “It might look like fun, but you’ll never get me up in one of those things.” 265
