Why Avoid Life's Hills on the Map?
Poem★★★★Sitting beside me in the room where I am writing,
a college boy has been planning a bicycle tour of England.
He has been poring over the road maps to see how he can
avoid the hills. If he stays on the level he will miss the
best of England, Devon, and Cornwall, the Lake District,
the lowland, and the moors. Why should we pity him or
smile at him? Do we not study the map of life in advance
to see how we can avoid the hills?
