Goodness and Mercy Will "Persecute" You
Analogy★★★★It’s actually the conclusion. It ends with, surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all of the days of my life, and I’ll dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Does anyone know what that word follow in Hebrew is? That word follow is the same word as persecute. In other words, goodness and mercy shall persecute you in such a way or hunt you down. When you think of, if you think of imagery of persecution, what do you think of? Someone just, you know, dogs following you and everything else. Well, here it’s saying when you follow a life more abundant, guess what? That type of goodness will follow you all the days of your life.
