Immediately an official of the Czechoslovak Embassy said: “She has permission to stay here for a program of skating exhibitions.
When these are completed she will return home.” Just like that! For all the world as if the feet she skates with are not her own! No doubt he keeps them in a drawer in his office, prepares them and lends them to her.
We are not so very far from having a political party capable of believing that it has lent to God the sun and the moon and the rain for strictly limited purposes, and that if this use is not on party lines the loan may be withdrawn without notice.
