If you ever see an apple with a hole in it down to the core, feel free to eat. The hole to the core is a hole put there by what drilled out, not what drilled in. When the seed was growing, the larvae of the worm got on it and the apple grew up around the “problem.”
When the worm hatched, it bore itself out of its situation, eating its way out. The exterior of the bright, shiny apple had contamination inside. Sin is resident on the inside. What we see on the outside of people’s lives is simply the external illustration or the seed of sin inside.
