Guidance
Poem★★★★Some years ago a woman was traveling in a carriage through a dense forest in the South. Night came on and the driver lost his way. ‘The driver dismounted and walked among the trees, trying to find the road. The woman noticed in the dim light that his face was turned toward the sky.
She asked, ““Why are you looking upward when you are trying to find the road through the woods?” He replied, “‘If I can find the path in the sky, I can find the road on the ground.” He knew that the only place in the thick forest where the sky could be seen through the dense branches was where the trees had been cut away in making the road. To find the opening over- head was to find the way on the ground.
No direction of life is safe but that for which we look up te God tor guidance.
The point
Lost in a forest at night, a driver found the road by looking at the sky and following the opening in the trees visible against it; similarly, looking to God reveals the safe path through life.
