He's not like the others
Story★★★★When I was a boy, my daddy told me about a goat farmer who disliked the church where his wife attended. His feelings were so intense that every time a member of the church did something wrong, he spread the news about how terrible this church was. After a time, the preacher became weary of the matter, so he decided to pay the farmer a visit.
The preacher told the farmer he wanted to buy a goat, so the farmer showed him all of his prize goats. Then the preacher asked, “Do you have any others?”
About that time a little runt goat came near. “That’s the one I want!” the preacher said.
The farmer wondered at his choice, but he sold him the goat. Then he asked, “Why did you want that goat?
He’s the worst on my farm!” The preacher replied, “I wanted to go all over the community and show people what kind of goats you raise.” The farmer objected, “That’s unfair! He’s not like the other goats!”
The preacher retorted, “I know! I know it’s unfair to judge all your goats by this one; it’s also unfair to judge all Christians by the wrongdoings of a few.”
