StoryTestimony★★★★A storeowner was enjoying attending the prophecy seminars held in the tent. Every night she sat in the front row enraptured by the presentations. She had never heard anything like it. Then one night she heard a topic that troubled her; nonetheless, she continued to attend.
She believed everything she heard, for it came from the Bible. One day the speaker visited her in her store.
“Now is the opportunity to ask about that troubling subject,” she thought. “I am confused. Which day is the Sabbath day?” The pastor asked if she had a Bible.
She happened to have one under the counter. However, she cautioned that it was her late husband’s Catholic Bible.
“That’s fine,” encouraged the pastor. Then turning to Luke 23:54-57, and 24:1-2, she read for herself the answer to her question.
“Oh, I have been wrong all this time. I need to try and close my store on the Sabbath.” Then correcting herself, she said, “No!
I need not try. I must close my store on God’s Sabbath and somehow God will take care of me.” Not only did she decide to keep the Sabbath, but to demonstrate her faith in God, the following Sabbath, not only did she close the store, she was also baptized.
