Seeing his busy schedule, the throngs of people, and the stresses he encountered, she
grew alarmed. But the Lord gave her Jeremiah 23:23, and it became her theme-verse
in prayin.g for him: “ ‘Am I a God near at hand,’ says the Lord, ‘And not a God afar
off?’ ,,
I knew God had a long ann; He was wholly trustworthy. I have always had great confidence
in the Lord’s watchcare over Billy, and I have not feared, therefore, for his life.
