The Ultimate Christmas Tree
Poem★★★★This Christmas tree is like no other that any have ever seen. This tree was mostly red and not much green. It had no lights on it to sparkle or blink. For the light was on the tree to make men think.
Underneath this tree were no gifts to open. For the gift was on the tree for all to hope in. It had no star to crown it with glory. But I believe in this tree, that’s why I tell you this story.
No careful touch, no tender care. But for our sins we put it there.
This tree, red with blood for the redemption of man, Glory to God the tree extends grace for all who believe the plan. It is not sold in stores, nor grown in a forest. Choose you this day, is this trees chorus. When I think back a bittersweet tear is shed.
O for the tree all covered in red. What is keeping you my fearing friend? The tree promises everlasting life to all who depend.
The point
The cross of Christ, not a decorated tree, is the true Christmas gift offering redemption and grace to all believers.
