During that game a player named Tommy Bell who had one real eye and one glass eye hit a man so hard that the impact caused his glass eye to come out. The game was stopped so Tommy could find his eye. Absolutely beside himself referee O’Brien ran over to Tommy and said, “Don’t you know how dangerous this game is? What would happen to you if your other eye was damaged or scratched? What would you do then?” Tommy said, “Then I would be blind just like you.” This story reminded me that I have two good eyes to use. I have a good mind and an able body as well. Let’s start using our talents for the Lord.
