Perhaps you would. Would you be willing to have all that you want and be deaf and dumb? Probably not. Would you like to have all that you want in the When world, and be deaf, dumb, and blind?
Awareness of Nature the brother could not hear it, the ranger leaned over and picked up a cricket which had been in a crack in the walk. The city brother was quite amazed. “It all depends on what your ear is trained to hear,” the ranger added.
Then he dropped a coin on the sidewalk and many busy persons stopped to look for it. Their ears had been trained to hear other noises than those of a cricket—Donatp D. KENNEDY Certainly not.”
The point
A forest ranger hears a cricket in a city; when his urban brother cannot hear it, the ranger explains that it depends on training your ear. Then a dropped coin makes many busy people stop—showing that people hear and see what they are trained to notice. Spiritual awareness is trained.
