TestimonyStoryHistorical Account★★★So when I used to work with veterans, some of them oftentimes they had negative experiences in childhood and then it was compounded also then later on, but there were some that had kind of a very strong, good, healthy set of core beliefs. And then they went into war and for years being in that environment created the core belief the world is dangerous, right? Because, and this is an important point too, oftentimes that core belief could be true in some element in that time of life, but it becomes over-generalized and then you continue to utilize it to protect yourself, to know how to live in your life, but then it’s no longer helpful in other contexts.
