Feeling God's Presence

Far away in a remote corner, leagues away from the place where the sea strikes the mouth of the Amazon, the pulse of the ocean was beating, and he could feel it. You may have lost sight of God, and wandered far away from Him. But do you not feel the tide, the throb of the Eternal? God has not left you, though you may have left Him.

Just as the ocean's tide can be felt far inland, God's presence still reaches us even when we feel we have wandered from Him.
