Simpson trial. The trial was on TV for more than four months.
Judge Lance Ito., Marcia Clark, and Johnny Cochrane became household names. “If it does not fit, you must acquit!” One writer called it, “The Super Bowl of murder trials. ” There have been many famous trials down through the years. The Scopes Monkey Trial in 1925 in Dayton, Tennessee.
The Nuremberg War Trials in the 1940s. Presidential impeachment trials. The most famous—or infamous—trial of all would be that of Jesus, who stood trial before Pontius Pilate the night before His death in A.D.
