As Christians we all need those periods of meditation and loving remembrance of Christ—we need them because of the busy hurry of life, because silent times are times of growth, because of the new kindling of affection and inspiration to Christian service they bring. Said the Psalmist ‘““While I was musing the fire burned. Then spake I with my tongue.” Active duty results from the quiet musings of the soul. Let us stir up our minds by way of remembrance.
