Starving Baby Analogy
Analogy★★★★I’ve heard stories, terrible stories in countries, war-torn countries of women that have had to literally watch their infants starve to death. Horrible stories. What’s the worst thing that could happen to a mother? To watch your baby starve to death.
I’ve read these just harrowing accounts of these mothers who are grasping their infant baby in their arms and they could feel the heartbeat of their baby as it’s beating up against their chest and the beat gets slower and slower and slower till it stops. Why? Because there was no nourishment. Can you think of a worse thing for a mother to go through?
And yet I think to myself, this is what God’s going through on a massive scale. Is he going through that with you? Are you going to make me watch you starve to death? Don’t do it, friends.
