Spiritual Surgeon
IllustrationAnalogy★★★★At times, a surgeon has to operate and remove, let’s say a cancerous tumor. It’s better to operate and remove it than let it and die. Better to expose the error even if the knife causes a little pain than to die because of the tumor. Throughout book of Rev it reveals doctrines that are like cancerous tumors that spiritual surgeons must take the knife or sword (Bible) and cut it out.
I suppose that in medicine it is much more joyous to deliver babies than cut out tumors, but both are necessary to preserve life. But just remember a butcher cuts to kill while a surgeon cuts to heal.
JC loves us enough to reveal error, to reveal cancerous doctrines. He reveals who the beast is and what the beast is all about.

A spiritual surgeon must use truth's sword to cut out false doctrines like removing tumors; pain is necessary for spiritual survival.
